TRI TIP SLIDERS

INGREDIENTS
- Worcestershire sauce
- Pit Barrel® Beef & Game Pit Rub
- BBQ sauce of your choice
- Kings Hawaiian Rolls (12 pack)
- 6 provolone cheese slices
- 1 yellow onion
MUSTARD SAUCE
- 1 stick melted butter
- 2 tbsp chipotle mustard (or Dijon)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp granulated onion
DIRECTIONS
- Spread Worcestershire sauce on Tri Tip as a binder.
- Season generously with Pit Barrel® Beef & Game Pit Rub. Let rest 30 minutes.
- Light Pit Barrel® Cooker and add a chunk of hickory wood.
- Hook Tri Tip and cook until desired doneness.
- Rest meat for at least 20 minutes.
- Sauté sliced yellow onion.
- Slice Tri Tip against the grain and cut into smaller pieces.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally to separate top and bottom.
- Brush bottom layer with Mustard Sauce.
- Add sliced Tri Tip, onions, and provolone cheese.
- Place top buns back and brush with Mustard Sauce.
- Place sliders on sprayed rack and cook until cheese melts.
- Slice individually and dip in BBQ sauce.
- Enjoy!
