SMOKED CHICKEN SLIDERS
These delicious chicken sliders will have you drooling and wanting more after each bite! These pack a punch of flavor that will keep you and your people asking for it time and time again!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 whole chicken
- Pit Barrel® All Purpose Rub
- Hawaiian rolls
- Sliced dill pickles
- White BBQ sauce (Mississippi white sauce recommended)
- Pickled red onions (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Trim whole chicken and remove giblets.
- Pat dry and coat with olive oil or cooking spray as binder.
- Season with Pit Barrel® All-Purpose Rub. Rest 20 minutes.
- Light Pit Barrel® according to instructions.
- Add pecan wood chunk to coals for smoke flavor.
- Hang chicken using poultry hook and cook to 165° internal temperature.
- Remove and rest at least 30 minutes.
- Shred chicken carefully.
- Assemble sliders with chicken, pickles, and white BBQ sauce.
