INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb mixed raw nuts (or nuts of your choice)
  • 2 tbsp avocado, olive, or coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp Cajun seasoning (or use recipe below)

CAJUN SEASONING (Optional)

  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix nuts, oil, and Cajun seasoning in a large bowl. Let sit for 1 hour.
  2. Drain excess oil.
  3. If using whole nuts, place in the All-Purpose Hanger Basket and cook for 1½–2 hours until desired doneness.
  4. If using halved nuts, cook in an oven-safe dish or cast-iron skillet.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
