INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb asparagus (1 bundle)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can crescent pastry dough
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Sea salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Light Pit Barrel® according to instructions.
  2. Trim and clean asparagus.
  3. Roll out pastry dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Place thin slices of cream cheese in the center of each triangle.
  5. Add 3–4 asparagus spears and wrap pastry around them.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Place on grate and cook for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
