Polish Dogs on the Pit Barrel Cooker

POLISH DOGS

Enjoy amazing Polish Dogs cooked on the Pit Barrel Cooker using our brat hanger!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package Polish dogs (or hot dogs)
  • Romaine lettuce boats
  • Pretzel buns
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Honey BBQ Sriracha sauce
  • Condiments of your choice
  • Sauerkraut (optional)

DIRECTIONS

POLISH DOG PREP

  1. Light your Pit Barrel® according to instructions.
  2. Load Polish dogs into hanger and smoke until slightly charred.
  3. Remove from cooker.

ONIONS, PEPPERS & JALAPEÑO PREP

  1. Slice onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño. Place in bowl.
  2. Add tequila and squeeze fresh lime juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill veggies in pan or over Pit Barrel® in cast iron.

POLISH DOG ASSEMBLY

PRETZEL BUN
  1. Butter and toast pretzel bun.
  2. Add grilled veggie mix.
  3. Place Polish dog on top.
  4. Top with Honey BBQ Sriracha and mustard.
LETTUCE WRAP
  1. Place romaine leaf on plate.
  2. Add veggie mix.
  3. Add sauerkraut if desired.
  4. Lay Polish dog on top and drizzle sauce.
