MAC 'N CHEESE
You've probably never thought of cooking Smoked Mac 'N Cheese, but this is seriously the BEST mac 'N cheese recipe ever! Quick, easy, cheesy and smoky!

INGREDIENTS
- 12 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 egg
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese of choice (preferably unsmoked)
- Bacon, fully cooked and cut into bite-size pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS

- Light your Pit Barrel® according to the instructions.
- Boil the macaroni according to package directions until slightly soft but not fully cooked, about 7 minutes.
- Whisk egg and milk in a bowl, add melted butter and cheese, stir until smooth.
- Add macaroni to cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated.
- Pour mixture into baking dish, top with more cheese if desired and season.
- Place dish on grill grate in the Pit Barrel® and secure lid.
- Note: If using a Hinged Grill Grate, add mac n’ cheese 45 minutes prior to ribs being done.
- After 35 minutes, sprinkle bacon bits on top.
- Cook additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
