Check out these Buttery Steakhouse Burgers cooked to perfection on your Pit Barrel® Cooker!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 works well)
  • 1/2 stick butter (frozen), shredded
  • Pit Barrel® All Purpose Rub
  • Condiments of choice (Honey Sriracha BBQ sauce recommended)
  • Jalapeños
  • Tomatoes
  • Butter lettuce leaves

DIRECTIONS

  1. Shred frozen butter and mix into ground beef with All-Purpose Rub.
  2. Form patties and create a small dent in one side to retain juices and shape.
  3. Season both sides with additional rub.
  4. Light your Pit Barrel® according to instructions.
  5. Insert stainless-steel grate and allow to reach temperature.
  6. Grill burgers, flipping once, until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Remove and rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
