The perfect after-dinner treat and dessert to make while your coals are still hot in your grill or barrel. These Bourbon Peaches will leave your friends and family wanting more!

INGREDIENTS

  • Fresh peaches
  • Raw bourbon smoked sugar (brown sugar may be substituted)
  • Your favorite bourbon (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or crème fraîche (optional)
  • Aluminum foil

DIRECTIONS

  1. If not already lit, light your Pit Barrel® according to the instructions.
  2. Halve and pit the peaches.
  3. Form a small foil ring to support each peach half.
  4. Place peaches on foil rings on the Standard Grate inside the Pit Barrel®.
  5. Sprinkle raw sugar over each peach. For adults, drizzle bourbon on top (use caution — alcohol may cause flare-ups).
  6. With the rebar removed, fully seat the lid and cook approximately 20–25 minutes.
  7. Finish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, crème fraîche, and/or extra sugar.
