Try this super easy recipe to give your next chicken dish a bold, flavorful kick!

INGREDIENTS

  • 8–10 bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces (thighs and drumsticks work best)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Cracked black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, toss chicken with taco seasoning, honey, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  2. Light your Pit Barrel® and bring to cooking temperature.
  3. Grill chicken until skin develops a nice char. Turn frequently to prevent burning, as the honey caramelizes quickly.
  4. Cook approximately 15–20 minutes total, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove, rest briefly, and serve.
